Is it true that 20 minutes of EMS equals 1.5 hours of gym time?
You've probably heard EMS studios state that a 20-minute EMS session equals 1.5 hours at the gym. Let's delve deeper into this subject since I want you to understand the fundamentals of EMS technology.

The EMS device functions as our second brain

The EMS device functions as a second brain and nervous system.  When we exercise, our neurological system sends us impulses to move, causing muscles to twitch.

We have a second brain with an EMS device, which permits us to work even harder.  More muscle fibers are stimulated, thus no matter what we do, the training will be better.

Whole body electrical muscle stimulation devices can be used for a variety of purposes: training, therapeutic objectives, body sculpting, and aesthetic treatments are all possible.

Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) causes muscular contractions by using an electrical current. This is not the same as traditional training, which is regulated by the central nervous system.

The stimulus elicited by the neurological system is the same as the electrical impulse in the motor neuron (action potential). As a result, if we activate the muscle at the same level, its work will be similar.

The muscle cannot identify whether the stimulation was caused by the neurological system or an electrical impulse. The nature and amplitude of the stimulation are determined by the device's parameters.

Simply explained, the EMS device can accomplish things that the brain cannot.

As long as the brain can stimulate the majority of the muscle fibers, the device is near to 100% and can achieve better fiber synchronization.

Why are sessions limited to 20-25 minutes?

Furthermore, unlike the human brain, the EMS device processes the muscles with consistent and high-quality pulses that do not overburden the cardiovascular system or cause mental weariness. This produces better and safer performance increases than a standard workout on its own.

Increases and conditions the muscles while also regenerating, renewing, and initiating self-healing processes.

Because of the effectiveness of the EMS device, we recommend limiting sessions to 20 minutes and allowing at least two days between sessions to ensure that it stays a safe and effective approach to train or supplement any existing training program.
